  • Aluminum and brass tracks are warranted for 1 year against manufacturing defects and corrosion-related functional failure. (Class I anodizing reduces corrosion risk for aluminum in concrete.)
  • Warranty doesn’t cover corrosion from direct exposure to harsh chemicals such as chlorine or chlorides, nor improper settling of floor. Any return or claim must be made according to FFI Terms and Conditions, see FFI catalog section A.

Maintenance: Maintain sliding doors and tracks monthly; use water & mild soap to clean away debris and dirt; use a mildly abrasive pad such as Scotch-Brite to clean any unwanted surface discoloration.

Recommendations:
  • Aluminum is at risk for corrosion when embedded in concrete that contains chlorides. Class I anodizing reduces corrosion risk for aluminum in concrete.
  • Wheel compatibility: Any track material is compatible with nylon wheels, as on FFI lift slide carriages. When using patio door rollers with steel or stainless steel wheels, stainless steel FASTrack is recommended for durability.
  • Curved track: if you have curved door projects, you will need to arrange the bending and radius. (FFI does not advise on curve radius or methods; see Warranty and Install Guide.) Do not bend carriages.
